A Guide to All the Regions in Singapore

Singapore is officially divided into five regions; central, north, north-east, east and west. These regions are known as the planning regions and are used for urban planning and development purposes.

The Central Region stands as the bustling core, serving as the country's commercial and financial hub. Here, iconic landmarks like Marina Bay Sands and Orchard Road coexist with vibrant residential neighborhoods. Moving eastward, the East Region unfolds with its scenic recreational areas, interconnected park connectors, and mesmerizing coastal attractions. The North Region offers a diverse landscape, encompassing residential towns, industrial estates, and nature parks, such as the renowned Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Journeying to the Northeast Region reveals a harmonious blend of mature and newer housing estates, forming lively communities that thrive amidst a range of amenities and natural wonders. Finally, the West Region emerges, where a tapestry of residential areas, industrial estates, and verdant nature reserves come together to create a balanced and dynamic environment. From the energetic pulse of the Central Region to the tranquil beauty of the surrounding regions, each of these five regions contributes to Singapore's rich tapestry of diversity and development.
